The WRDR RaiDeR News Team is a group of sixth, seventh and eighth grade students who provide up-to-date news and information to the students and staff of Rippon Middle School each morning in a live broadcast via closed circuit television. This is the first group of its kind at this school. Under the guidance of its sponsor Mrs. Linstrom, the students are responsible for preparing for each broadcast. This includes readying the set, camera and sound equipment, gathering announcements, practicing scripts and modifying the format of the show each morning.
